It is the day when Orihime and Hikoboshi meet
at the Milky Way only once a year.
On that day, we have strips of paper with wishes
written by local children displayed in the town.
The many thoughts and feelings that
have been spun up to now.
Times may change,
and the landscape of the town may change,
but we will always cherish the dreams
and hopes of the children who will carry the future.

大阪府豊中市で毎年開催されている
七夕まつりのイラストを夕凪さんに
制作していただきました。
毎年7月7日は七夕。
織姫と彦星が一年に一度だけ
天の川で会える日。
その日に地域の子どもたちの
お願い事を書いた短冊をまちに
飾らせてもらってます。

今まで紡いできたたくさんの想い。
時代は変わり、まちの景色は変わろうとも、
未来を担う子どもたちの夢や希望は
いつまでも大切にしたい。
