The Senaki-Adler railroad line runs along the east coast of the Black Sea and provided a connection between Russia and Georgia until a section of the line was closed. Most of the line lies in the Republic of Abkhazia, which is recognized internationally by only a few states.
The special thing about this railroad line is not only the beautiful location of the line but also the former stations and their striking architecture and it quickly becomes clear why Abkhazia was also the heart of the Soviet Riviera.
The station of Gagrypsh, as well as almost the entire line, is consumed by the subtropical plants, forming the aesthetics for which I had come.
