I remember sharing some images from this shoot in a group/forum for female entrepreneurs and artists. Disgusting was a common adjective to describe this, also I got feedback on how the backdrop should have less wrinkles and questions as what am I trying to say? Who’s my target audience? And so on.. Creating just because it feels right didn’t seem to be an acceptable option. I have to say one person thought this was art and she liked it. One out of a 60K group. I found it very interesting. I didn’t expect people to like it, I still don’t expect that. I was surprised I didn't get more diversity of opinions in such a large group. Am I surprised, I’m actually not surprised. More often than not in these close communities there’s some sort of mental training or probably I can call it brainwashing straight forward where people stop thinking by themselves.
