Welcome to my world, far away from civilization in the heart of the backcountry where worlds are constructed by thousand year old ice. Shapes and textures take on the most unworldly hues of blue, illuminated by the full moon in the otherwise pitch black of the night. This is a visual rendition of the experiential beauty of glacier exploration and where my true passion for adventure photography came to life.

To what lengths are you willing to push in order to achieve a creative vision. To what extremes and elements of nature are you willing to sustain with no guarantee of creative return. This is what adventure photography is all about.

These experiences demand complete situational awareness, hours of preparation and training, combining both physical endurance and the emotional will and perseverance to withstand incredible discomfort. It is within nature, that we find out what we are truly made of. And 17 hours later, l can recall far more than the destination itself.
