The tide was up and the waves were big, crashing against the rocks and sending the spray high. Even though we were protected from the waves, we decided to move shortly after this shot was taken, due to the power of the waves.

This location is comprised of eroded granite rocks. In sheltered places they are covered in orange lichen. Where the rocks face the power of the waves and the wind they are sculpted into fantastical shapes.
