Camping along a mountain river near where I grew up in eastern British Columbia, Canada it was thrilling to send the drone up for a birds eye view.

I was astonished by the intricate beauty of the river I have spent so much time near. This was the first time I saw the braiding of the channels, the colours of the water contrast against the gravel bars. It was like I was seeing an old friend for the first time.

Blaeberry braids, names after the blaeberry river, which flow west out of the Rockies and empties into the Columbia River near Golden BC. I lived along its banks for the first 20 years of my life, camped, played, swam and dirt biked alongs its flats. However now I look at it in a completely different way. I see the delicate, ever changing beauty of its glacier fed waters.

I am very proud to bring this jewel from my childhood to my Motion Collection. I hope you also fall in love with its turquoise waters the way I have.
