this piece is a study on the anxiety & fear that an artist can experience when minting a new work. the uncertainty that your reserve may not be met, and the feeling when you look to see if you got that special email, "you've got a new bid!" but nothing is there... checking back on your bookmarked link to your piece, just to see you still have an unmet reserve... but the power is within to keep flowing forward no matter what you experience now. the beauty in this work is that, i made this piece for me... and therefore, it doesn't matter whether the reserve will ever be met. because by making art for myself, by making art that i personally love and resonate with, i've already won. the beauty of this work is in the journey of its creation, not in the collecting of the ETH that it may generate. this piece takes a stand for artists to mint what they believe in, and to stand firm and believe in what they mint, and the reserves they set. believe in yourself, dear artist... i believe in u.
