A steady but relatively easy hike to the summit of Mt Oberon provides expansive views over most of Wilsons Prom. The shape of the land reveals itself. Fingers of tree-covered granite reach out into the sea creating bays and beaches all along the coast. Nestled in the middle is the campground at Tidal River. This is where most journeys begin and end at the Prom. As the sun sets over the horizon, it signifies the end of this journey for me. The glow in the air feeds my soul for what lies ahead and I take the first steps toward a new path.
A sanctuary on the southern coast of Victoria, Australia, Wilsons Promontory National Park has always been a place for me to recharge my body and soul. With a variety of pristine beaches, hikes through lush forests, and superb mountaintop views, there is never a shortage of ways to connect with nature.
I’ve spent many days and nights at the Prom and taken plenty of photos. This series represents the best of those images. My signature style brings out the breathtaking beauty one would experience seeing these natural vistas in person.
