The sky tries its best to outshine the glistening golden plains around a serpentine Darby River. A gentle breeze ripples the water and sends a shiver through the grass. The distant hills hold back the clouds and collect the rains. Simple processes lead to complex thoughts and emotions of our part in this intricate system. The shiver of the grass reaches my spine and my mind shakes itself out of the machine. There are tasks to complete.
A sanctuary on the southern coast of Victoria, Australia, Wilsons Promontory National Park has always been a place for me to recharge my body and soul. With a variety of pristine beaches, hikes through lush forests, and superb mountaintop views, there is never a shortage of ways to connect with nature.
I’ve spent many days and nights at the Prom and taken plenty of photos. This series represents the best of those images. My signature style brings out the breathtaking beauty one would experience seeing these natural vistas in person.
