My name’s Camden - I’m an alt soul artist originally from a tiny town called Greenville, Illinois. I never thought music was a practical career, and none of my friends were pursuing it, but eventually the idea of doing anything else felt like being trapped in a cage. Once I swallowed my fear of failure, I moved to the closest music industry city I could, Nashville.

Growing up, I always gravitated toward jazz and soul music, but when I went to record, the sound never felt right. I hadn’t discovered “my” way of doing it yet. So I focused on writing for other people, and got to explore a lot of different sounds that way. Later, I went on a songwriting trip to London, and felt like my artist project came to life there.

Phone Tag is a result of my time in the UK. R&B/soul melodies placed over futuristic production sets the tone for nostalgic lyrics about love that never happened.
