Itztli "Obsidian" a Deity made of obsidian and stone, famous for trying to kill Tonatiuh and failing. You can say he can't fool you because, you'll just see right through him... He wasn't always cold and made of stone, he was once Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli, but took a dart to head for fighting Tonatiuh and converted into what we see here. He is also a variant of Tezcatlipoca god of the night.

The Gutter wasn't gonna not FOMO into Naxeesi's universe! The hopped in after they saw all the fun the apes we're having, but they don't come in peace. They are waging war, hope the apes are ready!.
This collection is an extension to the Bored Aztec Apes. which launched last summer 2021. The collection is wrapped around our favorite blue-chip projects and Naxeesi's interpretation of the Aztec pantheon. Growing up, I was educated by my dad on the different deities and what the different symbols meant. My love for WEB3 and my culture is the main driver for these collections, and my way of bringing forth old civilizations into the mainstream through art.
