I wrote, produced, and engineered this song at my home studio in Las Vegas. Often times I finish songs quickly, but "Monday - Friday" is an outlier that took months. I pushed myself creatively on this song, and I think that's why I've grown so attached to it.

The intro begins with drowsy chords and an entrancing four on the floor kick pattern. Before things become stale the beat quickly transforms into hard hitting halftime drums with glitched music to kick off a verse. Bouncing back and forth between grooves isn't very common, and in my opinion it's what makes this song stand out. I lyrically start describing what my week was looking like - Uber drivers mistaking me for drug dealing because I have cash from rap... My ex ringing me about nothing while I'm in the middle of something important... Rolling 3 SUVs deep full of friends so it looks like we're in a black car convoy...

I play Mon - Fri" when I want to get in the zone. I had to sacrifice a lot to get to where I'm at, and this song is a testament that I shouldn't be afraid to remind people of the mountains I've climbed to get here.
