Moon–Block–Chain is a document of Yao Jui-Chung's cryptocurrency initiation. The artist visited Hongludi Temple, a popular place of worship for wealth wishing in the mountains above Taipei, to divine the private key to a lucky wallet. A pair of moon blocks are held in prayer and cast on the ground.

This video performance links cryptography and divination through faith in the randomness of the universe. Praying for wealth is a shared trait of temple supplicants and crypto-speculators alike.
