The project started as an experiment by the two artists to present generative artwork on the blockchain. It combines Marnix’s visual language and Enrique’s interactive design resulting in a computer program that autonomously produced collectible artwork in GIF format. The creators wish to invite participants to physically interact with this program as well and mint new work by visiting one of their shows.

The program uses a generative algorithm that shuffles an assortment of geometric shapes and colors resulting in random compositions. The generative / random aspect of the creation process allows for free interpretation by the audience, akin to Rorschach patterns. The results shown in the market place were picked by a live audience and the creators themselves, based on their individual preferences and associations with existing objects and symbols.
