Into oblivion...
I’ve stared at this picture a long time and suddenly I remembered what it makes me think of. "Back to the future", when the DeLorean disappears and leaves only a trail of fire. Good memories, bad accident.
It's such a strong image and I love the fact that you get the shadow of my grandfather as an added bonus.
Chalk was used to visualize the trajectory of the vehicles involved. In these photographs it often creates a focus point where otherwise there would be none.
Sometimes the chalk almost seems burnt into the image.
