Sexuality & gender identities aside, awareness of the androgynous nature of consciousness is intrinsic to creative expression. Be it the primal instinct to procreate or contractual obligations of complex social hierarchies, so much of the human experience derives from this dichotomy. But social conditioning often forces us to reject truths that aren’t easily classified, colour-coded or ranked.. and in doing so, keeps us from ever truly knowing ourselves.
