A Photograph

The strong nuclear force holds together the protons and neutrons in the nucleus of an atom. This is actually a side effect of its function binding quarks together to make the protons and neutrons themselves. The particle of the strong force is called the gluon.

The Universe looks at itself, approvingly. It needs a record of this miracle.

KEEPERS OF THE LIGHT

Photography was manifested to capture space-time events for future consciousnesses to gaze upon and ponder. The photograph describes these events, the positions of photons reflecting off of matter, 13.7 billion years after their inception. The heavy elements from exploding stars, iron, silver, platinum and gold are used to capture photon energy at the image plane on film and transfer it to paper.
