‘Coastal Trio’ is a piece inspired by the pristine coastlines of Western Australia.

Captured in the great southern region of Albany, this little stretch of coast ironically called ‘Misery Beach’, is known to have the most succulent crystal clear waters paired with white sand set amongst a thickly vegetated hillside.

I flew my drone and came across a special top down view seeing the ocean, sand and vegetation complement each other perfectly and I felt compelled to freeze that moment in time.

As for the name ‘Misery Beach’, there was once a whaling station down the coast back in 1978. The whale operation eventually ceased and although the name remained the same, the beach itself has to this day turned into a cozy pristine paradise and has been crowned Australia’s Best Beach of 2022.
