A secret path, hidden in a labyrinth created by nature, revealing itself only from a different perspective…

What I see in this scene is a metaphor of life, and how we need to constantly search for our own path in the ambient chaos.

In 2019, I got invited to San Francisco for the launch of an exhibit featuring my work, and used this occasion to travel in the southwest and create a series focusing on the badlands.

These hills are made of fragile sandstone, sensitive to erosion. Winds and rains are sculpting this ever-changing alien landscape for thousands of years, resulting in the complex reliefs we can see nowadays.

Awarded by the International Landscape Photographer of the Year Awards 2020, and by the Prix de la Photo de Paris 2020.

Published in ILPOTY photo book and multiple articles.
