This shot was captured after driving 5.5 hours, then hiking into the mountains 4 miles and setting up a remote camp, then hiking in another mile, through a high bear activity area and getting set up for the shot. Once I was done, I had to hike back in the dark, the additional mile back to camp. It was a really long day, but the experience was priceless. This was a 104 second exposure at ISO-1600.
