This shot was taken on top of Whiteface Mountain, in the Adirondacks of New York State. It was 10 degrees up top, on the day I hiked up this mountain. There were walls of ice and frozen snow clinging to the empty buildings and weather observatory. The sky was a piercing blue and these trees stood out in contrast to the sky, almost making me think they looked like the clouds in the background.
