This is the fifth piece from the "Hidden Portal" series exploring where the outdoors and science fiction intersect.
Any time I see a "Do Not Enter: Closed to Public" sign, my mind immediately goes to what could be happening beyond that point. It could be simple maintenance - a sign put up for our own protection as a pathway is repaired or a bluff refortified. On the other hand, the sign could be an effort to prevent the public from knowing about an occurrence or experiment that we aren't ready to comprehend.
The photo was taken at Caumsett State Park in Lloyd Harbor, New York as part of the "A Year In The Sound" project that I am a part of.
As part of this NFT, I will be gifting an 8x10 physical print of the photograph to each original purchaser. TO REDEEM PHYSICAL PRINT, email me at ntvli.com@gmail.com with your mailing address. For international orders, I just ask that you cover the shipping costs. I am also including the original file of the photo in case you prefer to just download it and make your own print.
