As a New York based street photographer my favorite moments to capture with my lens are those in the shadows. These moments are looked over yet occur all around us and can only be seen if we are really paying attention. The juxtaposition between shadows and light fascinate me capturing these brief moments on the streets really make my heart race for the city. 'So close yet so far' is a poetic moment between two lovers crossing through the chaos of the city they did not have the words to communicate their feelings.
