A False Sense of Repetition (2021)

An underlying pattern imposed on a hexagonal grid governs the placement of each line in relation to its neighbors. Yet, when this simple pattern is extended infinitely across the plane, there is no repetition to be found. This surprising relationship between the locally-strict and infinitely-unbounded is one of the many delights unique to computer artwork.

This token is a high-resolution scan of the associated physical plotter artwork. Both the digital token and the physical plot are intended to be held by the same individual. Redemption of the physical plot is optional. The buyer shall be responsible for the cost of shipping and framing. Until the physical plot is redeemed, it will stay in the custody of the artist. It is the responsibility of the previous owner to transfer the physical plot to the new owner in the event of a sale. The physical will not be replotted by the artist.
