By never clearly showing the input or output images themselves, Uncanny Abstractions traps us within the hidden layers inside the black box of AI.

When we juxtapose that work against the input/output images themselves, we gain new insight into the set of relations that mediate our expression as artists using AI.

The aim of this collection of works is to provide other artists with a novel perspective on this fascinating and beautiful new tool that we find in our hands.
