We arrived just a few days after the summer solstice, which meant an opportunity to experience a midnight sunset firsthand. This sunset was officially at 12:02 AM, and the sky never truly got dark our entire time visiting Iceland. In a visit that was marked by rainfall for large chunks of time, it was nice to have a half day of clear sky towards dusk.
