Archon Godheads are at the top of the Archon hierarchy. They are only able to produce a Godhead if they have captured an entire planet. Each Godhead can regenerate any other one within a matter of days if they are killed. This makes it nearly impossible to kill Archons if a hive grows across a large number of planets. If all Godheads within a hive are killed simultaneously, they also have a backup stored along the surface of their black hole of origin, but this process can take upwards of 10,000 years.

Each Godhead can simultaneously observe through the eyes and other sense organs of thousands of lower-order Archons anywhere in space-time. The long-term growth trajectory of an Archon hive is to spread across an entire galaxy and merge with other galactic-scale Archons. The Archons in the Milky Way plan to merge with the Archons in the Andromeda Galaxy billions of years in the future.
