The Banana refers to Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan's concept piece, consisting of a banana duct-taped to the wall of Perrotin gallery, at Art Basel, Miami. The banana sold in an edition of 3, fetching $120k, and was subsequently eaten.

The design is an adaptation of the 'Dai Historical Series' - a series of tokenized banknote designs that reference American history and are based on the Dai Stablecoin. This design features a hand drawn portrait of Gloria Vanderbilt, icon of art, fashion and consumerism.
