"If you could spare some change..." the LVK3 model sat in the dust on the outskirts of the market. Whole sections of its abdomen were gone, sold just to keep him charged.
3 coins sat in front of him, but they were placed there by LVK3 himself. He had put them there hoping it would inspire passers-by to drop more.
The alley became busy as the dinner crowd began heading home, with people stepping over his legs just to get by. The air grew cooler, dimming into orange as the sunset. LVK3's battery monitor dropped one more notch.

The Robots Are Coming is a series of robotic portraits, as analogies for people we tend to ignore.
Fans of my work submit adjectives, which drive the inspiration behind each piece. The robots are drawn by hand, and then vectorized and coloured. The colours for each piece are created generatively.
If available at the time of sale, a physical framed canvas edition can be sent to the buyer. Only 10 physical canvases of each piece are created.
The final collection will have 20 drawings.
