Nebula was painted in 2018 with acrylics, ink and Ethereum whitepaper on 24"x30" canvas. "Acceptance #0 - Original" NFT was given to the original buyer of the painting. Open edition physical prints were released of this work but later retired September 2019. It cannot be guaranteed that NFTs and physicals will be sold together after initial sale. You will have to contact the current owner with inquiries.

Nebula is part of the Genesis Series. The series consists of my five earliest works that all started as physical paintings that were then tokenized. These include Genesis - 2017, Nebula - 2018, Acceptance - 2018, Filter - 2018, and thankful_for_today - 2018.

Nebula depicts the power and scale of ethereum. Nebula are natural phenomenon whereby new stars are created from a cloud of dust, this parallels the ethereum ecosystem in which decentralized people and entities begin to connect and create applications for the network.

The piece shows a female subject looking at the viewer while the ethereum whitepaper begins to fill the background of the piece. An ethereum shaped nebula is formed and the subjects eye separates and glows to represent the creation of a new star/decentralized application. The foreground slowly disappears to reveal the full nebula which shows the vast ecosystem that has been created.
