Bunch-O-Bagels - 2.5/5

Store
Unusual set-up: a large, boxy area at the entrance for tables (currently void from COVID), then a small set of stairs up to the ordering area. Ordering area uncomfortably small even for 4-5 people and going downstairs removes you from eyeline. No spreads visible, bare pastry section, low drink selection. Seemingly unhappy, definitely uninterested staff moving very slow for the volume of orders. The facilities did appear to be clean.
2.25/5

Bagel
Medium-sized bagel. Standard toppings. No salt, but well-applied on both sides. Soft, but no particular sensation of freshness. Perhaps too doughy.
3/5

Cream Cheese
Served around room temperature, good quantity. Completely unique texture - grainy and closer to white fish salad. Specs of green were the only indication it was scallion-based. The texture combined with the inherent nature of cream cheese being a dairy product was off-putting. Dips below the Philadelphia threshold less because of taste, but more because it feels like this place should know better.
2.25/5
