Myrtle Bagel - 3.17/5

Store
Large store not fully utilized due to COVID. Moderate drink selection, limited pastry selection. 'Living on a Prayer' playing on the radio. Staff seems slightly disinterested but not aggressively so. More of a deli feel than a bagel store. Contains all the practical necessities.
3.25/5

Bagel
Large bagel, one sided toppings. Standard poppy, sesame, and garlic combination with decent density. Salt not visually apparent but evident on taste and shell sheen. A soft bagel, in a way that speaks more to processing than a fresh creation. Not thrilling, expected. Saved a worse fate by the salt flavoring.
3.25/5

Cream Cheese
Served deli case cool. Slightly both underapplied and uneven in application. Scallions present but a minimum taste entity. Overcheese present. In total, the experience is closer to a NY deli bagel.
3/5
