"Das Mädchen mit Licht" was painted by Julie Wilhelmine Hagen-Schwarz my great-great-grandmother who as my grandparents always told me was "the other artistic person in our family".

My grandparents died in February 2020 and my parents now own the original painting. They brought it to a museum together with other objects related to the artist Julie Hagen-Schwarz. The museum wants to own the pieces as in: buying them from my parents. The museum doesn't want to borrow the art and leave the rights of ownership with my parents. So my parents called my sister and me on this family-topic and asked for our opinion.

These eyes were looking at me my whole life. The narrative my grandparents created of my (future) self is one of the most stabilizing aspects in my life; the more time passes the more ideas of me told by them in my life come true or evolve a fuller meaning to me.

Like my grandmother saying "You will need to earn some money at some point, you should write a book!", me thinking "As if I would earn money by writing a book..". Today I know she was right and I am fighting for a space and time to call my own to do so.

But now is the future so I will not write a book. I will reflect on the medium and its format to put my thoughts into world. Finding a highly editable yet framed in a post-representative practice, a persistent but actively changing medium that in the best case is activating a knowledge transfer with others and satisfying my intrinsic desire for visibility - "it is not about the file", it is about prⒶxis.

But now is the future so what I asked my parents for is to hand over the rights of digital reproduction for "Das Mädchen mit Licht" to me as long as they are the original's owners and in any case give the physical artwork to the museum so it can be seen by people and studied by those interested.

The future is now and I am minting this piece of "Das Mädchen mit Licht" to let these acknowledging eyes look at every1 in this world and tell them that they can be and actually are world creating artists. Every1 is a creatA.

These eyes related themselves to me my whole life and they do to you. This is why you are looking at this piece right now, because it is looking at you, obviously caring for you by shielding your eyes from the bright light. It is letting you know it's aware of your existence, pausing for a moment to establish relation, giving focus on your possible impulse.

You are 1 artist. Your perspective and your (inter)actions are creating realities. Your thoughts are worthy.

The value of this piece of art has no chart. The piece is the praxis.

There are 4 of this. One for my sister, one for my mother, one for my father and one for me. All for all.
