On Sunday, 22. March 2020. earthquake of 5.5 magnitude woke me up in the early morning. It was followed by the second earthquake os 5.2 magnitude, leaving thousands of homes in Zagreb damaged and not safe for living. The COVID-19 lockdown measures were already in place and at the moment people got out of their houses, it started to snow. One young girl lost her life from earthquake's consequences. Shaking lasted for days. It wasn't my first strong earthquake. Even worse experience was when I found myself very near to the epicenter of the earthquake that struck Emilia-Romagna in 2012, at the magnitude of 6.1, followed by two aftershocks of 5.2 magnitudes and causing 27 deaths. I was there in some beautiful small village, for one of the strangest exhibitions I ever participated, called „Papertoy in the country”, but this is another story. ◙ MLIBTY Shadows represent people in general, but also shadows behind the curtains, invisible inhabitants you never meet, but you feel their presence.
