This is a digital collage, featuring one of my favourite female artists, Tamara de Lempicka. I have broken down the collage into shards in space, to give movement and volume. Lempicka herself, is well known for simplifying volume and space into tubular forms in her expressive paintings.
She was born into extreme wealth and luxury but lost it all when she had to flee Russia following the Russian Revolution. Missing her former luxuries, she was determined to make money with her art and did so, very successfully
This is an artwork dedicated to her.
