"𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹? 𝗧𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘂𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘂. 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘂𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘂 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂! 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁." This is the artist’s most representative work that embodies the artist’s fabricated world view on the subject of the ‘ideal and reality.’ By setting the scene of the opening of 90s animation together with the introduction of the artist’s iconic characters ‘BeauBeau,’ the work conveys the artist’s intended messages in a conventional yet novel manner. Artist anticipates delivering an eclectic impression of digital and physical work through the animation work that cannot be rendered as physical art. A total of 1,521 frames of confabulation has been completed inclusive of 507 frames of character motion, coloring, and pen line arrangement. BeauBeauThang is a significant work that marks the beginning of the whole worldview. 𝑨𝒏𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒂𝒖𝒅𝒊𝒐 𝒅𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒃𝒚 𝑷𝒊𝒌𝒂𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒌. ― [𝗔 𝗥 𝗧 𝗜 𝗦 𝗧 𝗦 𝗧 𝗔 𝗧 𝗘 𝗠 𝗘 𝗡 𝗧] BeauBeauThang is the name of my worldview. It is a newly coined neologism that connotes “𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘺 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘺 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨.” The word also implies “𝘚𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘉𝘦𝘢𝘶𝘉𝘦𝘢𝘶.” My worldview manifests two primary ideas. “Beauty infused with artist’s aesthetic interpretation,” and “continuity of polarity between the ideal and reality.”
My work portrays various images of BeauBeau which represent a form of the emotion of every person in the world including myself. Milky BeauBeau and Luna BeauBeau are prominent images of BeauBeau. Milky BeauBeau is a character that shows a robust emotional development rather than rationality, whereas Luna BeauBeau is a character with a predominant trait of rationality. The ‘ideal’ in my work demonstrates the desire to fulfill a basic instinct and its practice. Albeit the philosophical approach that the idea may seem to incorporate, it is in fact very simple. We are given different choices every moment, and on the verge of making a decision, we contemplate the disparity between the ideal and reality. Even a couple of hours ago, I was experiencing conflict between reality and the ideal of the moment in which I had debated whether a few biscuits in the late hours of the night could cause the slightest weight gain or eating late at night is unhealthy regardless of the weight gain. The ideal—reality is a prevalent concept of ambivalence deeply ingrained in our daily lives.
Various emotions and subject matters are refined with my interpretation of beauty and incorporated into the work. A significant context is adopted in both physical art and NFT art. “cuteness overload, adorable, flattering, pleasant, joyful, delightful” Upon the initial experience devoid of any information, I envision my works to immerse the viewers in a total experience of such emotions. The narrative of ideal—reality ambivalence behind the work draws an unexpected appreciation in exploring the works. There isn’t a correct way to explore my works. As an artist, I anticipate conveying positive energy to the viewers. Or I hope that the viewers find themselves completely engrossed in the emotions derived from the emotional outlet — whether that is a feeling of melancholy, desolation, or the excitement of a fine day. ‘BeauBeau’ in the work is an avatar that delivers my message as well as an alter-ego of the viewers. I anticipate conveying numerous emotions and messages in the aesthetics to induce sympathy, inspiration, and positive energy in the uncertain future.
