"For me, “The Spot” was the beginning of my art career. It’s my first collaboration with another artist. Meeting Mark Wilson and observing his process, raw talent, passion for art, and his sheer drive to create daily, inspired me deeply.

I credit this piece as the epiphany that allowed me to chase my dreams. It made the intangible idea of “a full time artist” - a possible reality, when I had previously told myself it wasn’t logical.

The piece itself was created at the start of one of the most tumultuous periods of my lifetime, where absolutely everything went wrong… except for this work of art. Unfortunately, due to a leak in the trunk of my car it ended up being destroyed by the elements. However, now it gets to live forever on the blockchain." - Dana Devreaux
