With aspirations of Oceanography and California dreams that would be dashed by paternal expectation of following footsteps...
She in that awkward, gangly stage,
Between adolescence and womanhood,
With aspirations of westerly business travel and dreams of yellow brick roads and Beatles pop lives that would be dashed
By the grey reality that's still a better life than here...

SimplyAnders, thank you so much for creating such beautiful works - your piece "Vision" was the first #WeAcceptAsh creation in my collection and it really helped convinced me to join the community and try my hand again at creating and have aspirations to one day use 3D animations in my work. This piece was also very apropo given my proclivity and interest in eyes.
Thank you and I hope to someday go surfing with you on the Big Island, but of course on a sandbar first so I don't die in paradise!
