Bomb Story: A recurring cartoon trope is to imagine what the character looks like as an anatomical cross-section or skeletal structure. We were curious to see what Adam Bomb looks like underneath all the hardware, but this also falls in line with The Hundreds' punk/metal aesthetic that is foundational to our brand themes.| Background Story: Horizontal stripes, especially of the yarn-dyed variety, are a staple of The Hundreds' collection. Earlier on, they were derived from the surf knits and beachgoer patterns that graced the backs of Californians in the 1980s. Examples include Hang Ten, OP, Quiksilver, and Gotcha.
