Bomb Story: I'm not sure why we never printed Plaidam, but that might be exactly why. Almost every design under The Hundreds goes to market with a story. If it doesn't have a reason, like Plaidam, then it doesn't make the final cut. After all, just because something looks cool doesn't mean it adds to the overall brand. At the time, a plaid Adam Bomb did not find a home in our seasonal story and epitomized a ""just because"" design. Having said that, well, I guess Plaidam finally has a story. | Background Story: The challenge was to design a new camouflage pattern using only one color. Typically, camos are broken up into multi-colored panels - was there a way to simplify the artwork down to its most base elements? We were able to retain the same identifiable shapes, but in order to distinguish them from each other, we used gradients like shadows or shading. Mission accomplished.
