A note from the artist “I created this piece as a visualization of Proof of Work. I think of a future where Ethereum is using Proof of Stake and in that future only the crypto hipsters will ironically use POW. And just as if it was a vinyl record, they will go on and on about the merits of this “superior algorithm.” But in those days the only POW miner on Ethereum will be the lonely “Prospector” living out eternity as an NFT.”
