Dr. Xydox Gorfnu was our competitor. A large heavy weight Tarmonian with a Crystal on his head the size of an Earth Brown Bear. Xydox sweated a lot and was clearly feeble from the weight of the crystal. If you hit him with a baseball bat on his slender knees. His elderly tall form would surely tumble. We debated in an arena built using the natural formation of one of the planet’s valleys. The seats chiseled from crystal, fitted to pokey butts. Losing this debate would mean certain death. For they already had interests in our power levels. The Tarmonian are haughty and over confident. Dr. Xydox Gorfnu stares us down, his giant crystal pulsating a bright greenish glow. We begin conversing...Turns out Xydox and us agree on most things. He decides against the debate. Shooting a massive energy beam from the crystal on his head to our spaceship. Before leaving Dr. Xydox invites us to listen to music. Xydox really seems excited for us to hear what he calls the pinnacle of fine art. The true crowned jewel of their people, Tarmonian music. We listen... and nod with delight. Acting like we can hear it to be polite. Tarmonian ears pick up frequencies that ours don't. By the end of it all the Xygor Tarmonian experience wasn't half bad.
