Holy Shit! When Hugues and me were visiting Humberstone not far from Iquique in Chile, I thought I would only visit a shut down saltpeter mine, I had no idea that the rusty metal turned into animals. We could have gotten killed. This was Jules Verne in a desert. But we survived. The buyer of this artwork will receive on request a printed booklet of the True Trips Traveldiary. The booklet consists of 30 postcards, that represent all the stops of my journey and is a limited edition of 150.
I embarked on these journeys in a time when one could still move freely. And the word lockdown was only associated with a trip to Alcatraz Island. Thanks to web 3.0, it will now be possible for the interested collector to collect the manifold videographies of my journeys. True events, which are probably forgotten today, but of which I was a witness. I would be happy to send the interested viewer a postcard of my future journeys, should I ever be able to move as freely as I once did.
