A rare opportunity to catch a lunar rainbow aka moonbow from Glacier Point which only occurs in the spring when there is sufficient spray from the waterfall and light from the full moon. Due to the viewing angle, the moonbow only lasts for about 10 minutes from this location. This timelapse captures the moonbow as it moves through Upper Yosemite Falls. The building lights and cars driving through the valley help capture the essence of night as the full moon illuminates this scene to almost mimic daylight.

Yosemite National Park is amazing all year round. Winter brings snow, fog and the famous Firefall phenomenon. Spring brings raging waterfalls, meadows of wildflowers and flooded valleys. Summer is amazing for hiking and visiting popular areas that are accessible after roads are cleared such as Glacier Point and Tioga Pass. Fall brings amazing reds, yellows and oranges blanketing the valley floor as trees show off their color.
This collection represents countless hours photographing my favorite National Park in every season to show the world its true glory. The mood and ambiance changes with every season and it's one of the few National Parks you can visit all year round and come away with great memories no matter when you visit.
