Last year I went on a 4 day trek in Berg lake. This area gets a lot of rain and the mountains are rarely entirely visible. In the middle of the night I woke up and noticed something was casting shadows on the tent.

Once I realized that mean the sky was clear and it was the moon, I woke all my friends up and ran to shoot before clouds returned. I barely slept that night and was almost too lazy to get out of bed, but it was totally worth the discomfort.
