I grew up having a lot to say, but lacked the confidence to do it. I was a quiet kid, keeping to myself. I took the back roads home to avoid seeing people. It was lonely, and I didn’t know where life would take me, but I knew it was somewhere good for me. My camera became the only way I could speak confidently. Taking this photo reminded me of this. In the end, my camera brought me to where I needed to be, and this piece is now hanging on my own wall.
