What would it be like if we could discover our current society?

Like a geologist digging up old civilizations or a diver discovering an old shipwreck. Here you see a diver that is observing people walking over a dam. The idea is to create some sort of self-reflection where the dam is the perfect example for me. With the Netherlands being under sea level, dams are a good example of the constant fight between our human capabilities and a natural force. Are we able to keep control of these natural forces? Are our dams the shipwrecks we will discover later?
