In 1993 I took a trip with Jon Boyer to Socal to shoot for a couple weeks with the Ride team. Jon was transitioning into filmmaking but was still a big part of the Barfoot program. having recently met Devun at a shoot we did at Seymour, he immediately recognized the talent, put him on a Barfoot board, and dragged him along to shoot with the coolest and best team in snowboarding at the time.
This NFT comes with an unlockable file to print a 12x18 version of the photo as well as instructions for the best practices for printing. This ensures that if the NFT sells to a new user, they will also get the add-on value.

Switch riding was just picking up steam, I remember Jason Ford really pushing it on this trip, but Devun, a virtual unknown, made an indelible impression with his switch skills. By the time he left Bear Mountain, the snowboard world was fully aware of a kid named Devun.
In the 90s snowboarding was still new, wild, dangerous, and changing by the month. It was exciting, the characters were legendary, and it went from the outcast to the olympics in a matter of years. These are some of the photos from that era. Sports collectables for those of us who were never into team sports.
