Artist's take:

Following the idea of the "Tonalli", I was inspired by all the dogs we see when we travel through Mexico, as they are continually seen nearby a "taqueria" passing through any town. I also wanted to play with Day of the dead elements with a pair of skulls and a cempasuchitl flower. - Alan C4N Mendoza
