Original Render Details: QuickTime Movie , 7680x4320 pixels, 30 fps, with two channel generative soundtrack, 1 of 1.
Sunset Dreams is an endless generative artwork meditating on imaginary sunsets; dream logic as applied to the form, colour, and motion of a sunset. It oscillates between two generative colour palettes, while noise and fractal turbulence algorithms determine endless variations on form and motion.
Sunset Dreams was displayed in two immersive locations during Digital Art Month in NYC: on the video walls in the atrium of Gallerie Melissa, and in four channel surround projection at Lume Studios. It has also been featured on multiple screens across the city of Paris as a part of DAM Paris.
This collection contains fixed format video and still artefacts rendered from the full generative artwork. A maximum of 100 artefacts will be produced from each of my generative artworks. These may take the form of prints, NFTs, real-time versions, and site specific video renderings.
